About David Bourke and Platform Web

Platform Web was started in Limerick, Ireland in August 2009 by David Bourke.  David has been involved in developing websites and internet marketing for more than 6 years, spanning most of his career with the chamber of commerce movement in Ireland.  It was there that David collaborated with Limerick based NTES and Dublin based Continuum Technologies to deliver a pioneering shared website system back ended with a customised CRM tool for the local chamber network in Ireland.  This was a first in Europe, and the system continues to thrive today with David's input, development and maintenance!

When not developing websites David is an eager cyclist, racing in 2011 with Team Siopa Rothar Also, enjoys urban and economic geography for which he has an MA Degree, and a special interest in why businesses locate where they do.
